CORN CHOWDER
1 tablespoon drippings
1 cup corn (fresh or canned)
1 tsp table oil
3 cups milk
1 onion sliced
1/2 teaspoon salt
2 cups cooked potato diced
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Brown the sliced onion and potato in the fat; add corn,
milk and seasoning. Do not cook too much, merely heat;
chowder should be served hot.
