Boston Brown Bread Without Milk

BOSTON BROWN BREAD Without Milk

1 cup cornmeal
1 pint hot water
1 cup rye meal
1 teaspoon soda
1 cup white flour
1 cup molasses

Mix dry ingredients together, steam 3 hours in an air-tight
mold. Dry in oven half an hour.
