Corn Bread without Milk and Eggs

CORN BREAD Without Milk and Eggs

2 cups white cornmeal 2 cups boiling water

2 level teaspoons salt 2 cups cold water

Scald meal and salt with boiling water and add cold water
slowly; beat well and let stand over night. P>take 1 hour in a
moderate oven.
