Cream of Lima Bean Soup

CREAM OF LIMA BEAN

1 cup dried beans
1 cup milk
3 pints cold water
2 tablespoons flour
2 onions Salt to taste
2 carrots (cut fine)

Soak beans over night, drain and add cold water. Cook
beans, water, onions and carrots together, strain and rub
through a sieve. Stir milk, flour and salt into the boiling soup.
